About Me. And Mom

My mom was raised in a music-loving family who sang in harmony. She took me to live concerts whenever possible and at 9, when I saw my first harp performance, I was hooked. Until I became a mom, I didn't realize how much I lucked out getting mine. She treasured our time going to lessons together and made sure I was prepared to take on new challenges. Music has now carried me through life's celebrations and challenges. I am grateful to be able to share it now with you. And I'm grateful for my mom and her family legacy.

Instruction

Having studied harp in private lessons starting at 9 years old through college and engaged in continuing education online, workshops, and masterclasses in person and through the Harp Column Academy, Erin has learned over the years that we all have different learning styles, things we appreciate about music, and ways we connect with learning a new instrument. She focuses on sight reading, technique, rhythm, and delivery. She makes opportunities for her students to perform periodically, but performance is not required. She learns first what goals each student has and focuses on helping them achieve those goals.
